Many of you turned out for our Macmillan fundraising event on Friday afternoon and it was lovely to see our community come together to support such a worthwhile cause.

There were cakes a'plenty and entertainment courtesy of the school choir as well as an impressive array of raffle prizes.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Wendy Griffiths for organising the event, to all the Teaching Assistants and pupils who helped her get everything ready and of course to all of you who donated cakes and came for cake and a cuppa.

A record amount has been raised and donations are still flowing in. We will have a final total by next week.

    You are all amazing!!

  • London Visit

    Tue 03 Oct 2017

On Thursday 28th September some of our pupils from Years 5 and 6 travelled down to London to visit The Houses of Parliament. This included a look inside the Houses of Lords and Commons in addition to some of the other very impressive rooms in the palace.

They also learnt about the voting system and how we can all affect change in our society.

After the tour we went to see some of the sights, including Buckingham Palace and after tea took in a show. A great day was had by all and we had some very tired but happy children on our return. Many thanks to all the parents who came out during the wee hours to pick them up from school. You're amazing!!
