Our Class Vision
In Year 3 and 4 we work hard and persevere to achieve many things. We follow instructions and take care with what we do. We play nicely and look out for each other. We listen, we laugh and we have a blast! We are happy, helpful and kind and we work as a team. Our class is UNSTOPPPABLE!
Homework is set on a Friday and should be completed/returned to school by the following Wednesday, with your child's book bag. Children may be given open tasks to complete in their learning logs where they are encouraged to think creatively about how to present their work. There may also be tasks set on My Maths for children to complete online. Some homework will be research based and used to help us with what we are doing in class the following week.
We have P.E. on a Monday and Tuesday this term. On Monday PE will be indoors - P.E kit is a white t-shirt and black shorts which the children are welcome to leave in school. Every Tuesday Year 3 and 4 we will attend Holywell Leisure Centre for swimming lessons, 1pm - 1.30pm (leaving school at approximately 12.30pm), please remember to pack you child's swimming costume, towel and goggles (if needed). The last swimming session will be on April 9th 2019.
Forest school sessions run every Thursday on a rota. It is not our turn this half-term.
Waterproofs are available in school however, children may wish to bring warm outdoor clothing when the weather is colder.
School snack is available every day for the cost of £1 per week. Please pay either every half term or term via the school office or the school gateway. Thank you.
If you have any further questions or concerns please do not hesitate to pop in and see me. We are looking forward to an exciting and busy term and can't wait to share our learning experiences with you.
