A huge congratulations to our pupils, past and present, who took part in the Youth Music Celebration at Theatre Clwyd this week. This was an opportunity for young musicians from across the county to showcase their talents. Altogether there were performances by the county choir, string and woodwind groups.

Test begin on Wednesday 3rd May and timetables have been sent out.
Year 3 enjoyed a guided tour of Moel y Gaer. They found out about who has lived in the hill fort and the different buildings that would have been there, including roundhouses. They also discovered the oldest part of the hill and learnt about where excavations have take place.
We are holding several exciting competitions this year designed to get your child involved in growing things.
Every child will be provided with seeds to participate in various competitions. Please support your child with this project.
All of the competitions will be judged in September as this will allow sufficient time for things to grow. We will judge the competitions in the second week in September - you will need to provide photographic evidence along with measurements by Tuesday, September 12th, 2017.
This winners in each competition will receive a £10 book voucher. There will be a Foundation Phase and Junior winner in each category.
The competitions are as follows:
Sunflower Competition
- Tallest sunflower
- Sunflower with the biggest head
Carrot Competition
- Grow the longest carrot.
Runner Bean Competition
- Grow the longest runner bean.
