Welsh Mountain Zoo
Mon 11 Jul 2016Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 had a brilliant day out at the zoo on Friday. All the animals came out to see us as we walked around. We enjoyed watching the Sealion show and seeing the tricks that they can do! We had a delicious ice cream before visiting the zoo farm. As always the children were fantastic and happy to be spending lots of pocket money in the zoo shop.

Wed 06 Jul 2016Currently there are lots of free eBooks linked to our school scheme available online - ideal for summer holidays after books have to be handed back to class. For more information go to www.oxfordowl.co.uk or search 'oxford owl free eBooks'. You will have to register and obtain a log-in but there is no charge and it's all fairly straightforward.
There's range of books available for free and they are all tablet friendly.

Chester Zoo
Wed 06 Jul 2016The juniors had a fantastic day out at the zoo on Monday. The sun shone and all the animals came out to see us. We were all very excited to see the new Islands section which didn't disappoint and many were brave enough to go into the bat cave; although one or two teachers did decide to sit it out!!!! As always the children were wonderful and happy to be spending lots of pocket money. Happy Days!! -
Sports Day
Wed 06 Jul 2016Well done to all the children who took part in Sports Day this year. They were all amazing and I'm sure a lot of fun was had by all.
The Infants had a glorious afternoon of lovely sunny weather and after many cancellations, the juniors eventually held theirs on Tuesday. Thank you everyone for your patience while we waited for the ideal day and thank you all too for your support.
We are still awaiting the final results which will be announced in assembly and then posted in the newsletter on Friday.
