  • Year 1 Class Assembly

    Well done to Year 1 for a fantastic class assembly! The theme of the assembly was 'healthy eating' and the children shared some important messages through poetry, story and song. They worked very hard to prepare the assembly and were very excited to share their work with special guests on the day - thank you all for attending!  
  • Attendance Award

    We have introduced a new attendance initiative whereby the class with the best weekly attendance is awarded a star. The class with the most stars every half term gets a prize of £50 to spend on things for their class. The school attendance target is 96%. Every day matters! 
  • Internet Safety with PC Mark Jones

    PC Mark Jones came to school to talk to the juniors about how to be a safe surfer when using the internet. Cyber bullying was also discussed and what to do if this happens. PC Mark Jones discussed the pros and cons of  the internet and downloading from the internet, e.g. good and bad elements of social media, research, gaming. The children continued their learning in class by having a further discussion about the pros and cons and how they would feel in various situations when using the internet.   
  • Eisteddfod Cylch

    A huge congratulations to all the children who represented our school at the Urdd Eisteddfod on Saturday. Their performances were amazing and they were brilliant ambassadors to our school. Thank you for all your hard work; we are tremendously proud of you. Congratulations to the girls who came first in their competitions and will compete again in a few weeks at the regional Eisteddfod in Wrexham. 
  • School Eisteddfod

    The whole school took part in the school Eisteddfod on Friday afternoon by performing a range of Welsh songs and poems. They were all fantastic - da iawn pawb! We also celebrated a range of art and craft entries, handwriting, and photography. Well done to all who took part, we are very proud of you. Also, a big thank you to Mr ap Sion for coming along to judge on the day - diolch yn fawr!
