Year 1 visit to Mold
As part of this term's topic work on Towns, Year 1 went on a trip to Mold to become familiar with the shops in the town and learn about the history of Mold shopkeeper, Daniel Owen. They enjoyed spending time in Mold museum and looking at several historical artefacts related to the town. The models of Daniel Owen's shop and office helped them to understand how shops were different in Mold over 100 years ago. They had fun walking by the shops in Mold town centre and searching for banks, hairdressers, newsagents and the post office....well done Year 1 for being brilliant town explorers!
