We are always looking for new ways to encourage the use of Welsh language in school and have restarted our 'Detectif Cymraeg' initiative, but with a difference!
This time, each class bubble will have a Detectif Cymraeg. The job of the Detectif Cymraeg is to listen out for others in the class bubble using Welsh phrases throughout the school day, including the Welsh phrase of the week. The Detectif Cymraeg will award someone a certificate on a Friday for using their Welsh, and that person's name will also go into a draw to win a Welsh themed prize at the end of the half term!
