At Ysgol Rhos Helyg, we are particularly proud of our international connections. In addition to collaborating with schools on a variety of initiatives, we also welcome student teachers from Austria and Spain to come to our school as a part of their own teaching experience.

At Ysgol Rhos Helyg, we aim to offer children the chance to not only investigate their own culture and environment, but also to explore that of others. By means of our partnerships, children have investigated the connections between themselves and the children in their link schools. This experience has resulted in the development of new connections and the chance to expand their knowledge of the world beyond their immediate surroundings. Through dance, art,  stories and research projects our pupils have worked alongside those in other schools, a unique opportunity to learn with and from each other.
