We had one last chance to re live our summer when we visited the beach for coastal class. At the beginning of the afternoon, the course leader stated " Rhos Helyg children always embrace opportunities with both hands", and Year 4/5 sure lived up to that.
We showed determination in our one breath race, collected and sorted living, once living and natural but never alive materials and best of all we created our own fantasy animals, deciding what kinds of adaptations and food they would need for life in the ocean.
As a teacher my favourite part was to see the children smiling, laughing and working together. A fantastic day had by all.
